About this expansion
Available through the league only: POP Series 1 (P1) was released in September 2004 as the first promo set of the Pokémon Organized Play program. Its 17 cards were not sold in stores but handed out exclusively at league and tournament events and through products tied to them – for a full year, longer than any later series. The most sought-after are Rayquaza, Armaldo ex and Tyranitar ex.
