About this expansion

A cycle of its own: Platinum (PL) was released internationally on 11 February 2009 and in German on 13 May 2009, taking over from the Diamond & Pearl series. It brings Giratina in both forms, the first Shaymin ever printed on a card, and a new card type in Pokémon SP: basic Pokémon always tied to an owner – here to the members of Team Galactic as Pokémon G. The list contains 133 cards, 127 of them in the regular numbering, plus three reprints and the shiny cards SH4 to SH6. Six cards are Pokémon LV.X. The three shiny cards are the most valuable, led by Vulpix.
