About this expansion
Jokingly called "Base 3": the Legendary Collection (LC) was released on 24 May 2002 between the Neo and e-Card cycles and consists entirely of reprints from Base Set, Jungle, Fossil and Team Rocket. Its lasting innovation is the reverse holo – a finish in which the whole card shines except for the artwork window, and it has been the standard ever since. The expansion was never released in German. The list contains 110 cards. The highest price goes to Charizard, ahead of Gengar and Dark Dragonite.
