About this expansion

Sealed away in ruins: Hidden Legends (HL) was released in June 2004 as the fifth expansion of the EX cycle and, for reasons never explained, never came out in German. The e-Reader strip is gone here, giving the cards their normal bottom border back. Thematically it revolves around the third-generation legendaries and what lies dormant in ancient ruins. The list contains 102 cards – one more than the regular numbering, because it includes a Secret Rare numbered 102/101. The most sought-after are Ninetales ex, Regice ex and Kyogre ex.
