About this expansion

Everything shines: Shiny Treasure ex (SV4a) released in Japan on 1 December 2023 as the year-end High Class Pack and turns Shiny Pokémon into a rarity tier of their own – Shiny Rare for regular Pokémon, Shiny Super Rare for Pokémon ex. More than a hundred Shiny variants sit in the secret section, alongside sought-after cards such as Charizard ex and the trainers Penny, Arven, Clive, Nemona and Iono. The main set counts 190 cards; with the secret rares the numbering runs up to 320. Internationally, these cards form the core of Paldean Fates.
